Singing and Expression
Singing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to others about Him is primarily what Dove Singers is all about. We do it with our whole being, putting full expression into our singing and movements during rehearsals and performances.
Fellowship
Building up one another to excel in our relationship to God and to one another is one of the essential ministries of Dove Singers.
Orchestra
The orchestra is an opportunity for instrumental musicians to use their ability to glorify God through the Dove Singers ministry.
Dancing
Some of the Dove Singers also express themselves in dancing before the Lord. This is part of our expression of praise and worhsip of our faith in Him who gave His life for us.
Technicians
Lighting and Sound technicians, as well as roadies (set-up and tear-down), make it possible for us to be seen and heard to share the Gospel message.
Praise and Prayer
Our praise and prayer ministry is an ongoing vital part of the ministry of the Dove Singers. Constant praising of who God is and continual prayer for one another, as well as others who might come to see the Dove Singers perform, is crucial to keeping Jesus Christ as the focal point of our lives and God’s glorification. Each week during our rehearsals, we break into small groups for group prayer.
Ministry of God’s Word
The Dove Singers proclaim God’s Word from the holy scriptures during our rehearsal devotions, as well as during performances.
Advertising
While most publicity is handled by members of the group, we do rely on others to make contact with area newspapers and radio stations, produce posters and flyers for the performances, as well as other publicity means.
